NO DISTANCE LEARNING BUT 100% Digitalized at Louisville Beauty Academy – Adopts Cengage 2023 CIMA Digital Learning Solution – Esthetician, Nail Technician, Cosmetologist and Beauty Instructor Program – Best PSI Licensing Exam Preparation

Louisville Beauty Academy is committed to incorporating the latest technologies to enhance our students’ training and knowledge in the beauty industry. We are proud to announce that we have recently adopted the 2021 CEngage Milady Online System, known as CIMA, to provide our students with a convenient and effective way to manage their learning.

However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Kentucky State Board of Cosmetology has issued an emergency directive requiring all schools to halt online/distance learning. In compliance with this directive, Louisville Beauty Academy will be ceasing online learning for all students as of June 24, 2021 at 11AM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will continue to follow the guidance of the state board to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kentucky State Board of Cosmetology and Hairdresser has issued an emergency directive allowing for a certain number of hours for cosmetology, esthetic, and nail technology students to be taken online. As of April 6, 2020, students pursuing cosmetology licensure can take up to 200 hours online, esthetic licensure can take up to 150 hours online, and nail technology licensure can take up to 100 hours online.

Louisville Beauty Academy is committed to providing our students with the best education possible, and in light of this directive, we have adopted the latest 2020 CEngage Milady Online System, MindTap, to ensure that our students can continue their studies and training remotely. We will be working closely with the state board and following their guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff during this challenging time.
