Kentucky’s Gold Standard of Lawful and Humanized Beauty Education
About the Program
Louisville Beauty Academy (LBA), a Kentucky State-Licensed and State-Accredited beauty college, is a KBC-approved provider for the official Eyelash Extension Specialty Permit training.
Rooted in our philosophy of Humanization, we believe beauty education is not only a path to skill mastery but a journey of service, dignity, and purpose. Every eyelash extension performed is an act of care — a quiet moment of human connection that enhances confidence and well-being.
This 16-hour, 2-day intensive course aligns with all Kentucky Board of Cosmetology (KBC) standards (KBC Specialty Permits Page) while honoring the deeper calling behind our profession — to serve others through touch, precision, and empathy.
Humanized Learning Experience
At LBA, education begins with the person — not the procedure. Every student is guided to:
- See the client as human first, not a transaction or model.
- Practice with intention, understanding how calm presence, conversation, and confidence-building enhance service outcomes.
- Cultivate gratitude — each lash service is a gift of trust between client and artist.
- Reflect on impact — how the beauty professional uplifts others, especially those seeking self-esteem and renewal.
Our classrooms are filled with warmth, mentorship, and encouragement — embodying Di Tran’s guiding principle:
“We train not just the hands to serve, but the hearts to care.”
