How to Enroll at Louisville Beauty Academy: Clear Steps, Published Contracts, Transparent Costs, and Student-Protective Compliance
Welcome to Louisville Beauty Academy. This page is written for students and families who want the enrollment process explained plainly before any agreement is signed. Our goal is simple: help you understand the steps, review the documents, choose the right licensing program, and begin with a written record that protects everyone involved.
Louisville Beauty Academy is a Kentucky state-licensed beauty school. We publish enrollment procedures, program agreements, payment information, and student-responsibility language because serious education should be visible, reviewable, and documented.
Our enrollment standard: clear writing, lawful records, respectful communication, transparent pricing, and no surprise promises outside the signed student agreement.
Kentucky Board enrollment document standard
Board documents come before enrollment. Serious students should tour before they commit.
Louisville Beauty Academy enrolls students through a written, document-based process aligned with Kentucky Board of Cosmetology requirements. Before a student begins, the school must review the required identity and education documents, confirm the information matches the student’s government-issued ID, and maintain a clear record for Board enrollment reporting.
Version 3 strategic enrollment graphic: required documents, exact ID-match standard, Board enrollment timing, and LBA’s serious-student walk-in/tour message.
Required public-facing documents
Education proof, government ID match, Social Security card when required for the enrollment/licensing record, and a current passport-style photo or clear white-background headshot.
Walk in before deciding
Serious about learning? Walk in. Tour. Talk with us. See the school, staff, instructors, and environment before you commit.
Control note: This public graphic is guidance. Current signed student agreements, current school policy, official Kentucky Board of Cosmetology requirements, PSI rules when applicable, and applicable law control. Transfer, high-school program, correction, and special-case files may require additional internal review.
LBA routes serious questions toward written clarity: program cost, schedule, documents, tour readiness, language support, transfer/re-entry review, and student responsibility. Translation technology may help, but current written school documents and official Kentucky Board/PSI requirements control.
Different students need different next steps. Pick the closest path, then text, call, tour, or request written follow-up. Current written documents, signed enrollment materials, Kentucky Board requirements, PSI rules, and applicable law control.
Louisville Beauty Academy uses rolling enrollment. That means a qualified applicant may begin the enrollment process at any time, online or in person, once the required documents and student agreement are completed.
You are welcome to visit during business hours. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. If you come in person, an administrator can guide you through the same digital process used for online enrollment.
Digital Enrollment, With Written Records
Our enrollment system is designed to be clear, document-based, and reviewable. Students may submit documents digitally from home, or complete the process onsite with staff support. Either way, the important information should be in writing so the student, the school, and the licensing record remain aligned.
Enrollment Steps for Licensing Programs
1. Review the School Catalog, Program Page, and Student Policies
Before signing, please review the materials that explain the school, the programs, the costs, and the expectations. A serious enrollment decision should be made from written information, not from assumptions or verbal summaries.
Valid driver’s license, state ID, or other accepted government identification
Social Security card, when required for the licensing/enrollment record
High school diploma, GED, or accepted equivalent, including translated foreign equivalent when applicable
A passport-style photo or a clear selfie against a plain white background
Under Kentucky enrollment rules, student identification information submitted for digital enrollment must match the student’s government-issued identification. Please review spelling, date of birth, and identifying information carefully before submission.
3. Choose the Program and Complete the Correct Agreement
Each program has its own student agreement. Please choose the agreement for the program you intend to enroll in and read it carefully before signing.
Louisville Beauty Academy offers fixed total package pricing for state-licensed programs. The published program price does not change on this page. Some students may qualify for optional savings, payment structures, scholarships, or incentives depending on the specific program agreement and the student’s documented actions.
Legal notice before signing: The signed student agreement is the controlling enrollment document between the student and Louisville Beauty Academy. Please take the time you need to review it. You may consult family, a sponsor, an advisor, or counsel before signing. Once signed, the written agreement governs; verbal statements, assumptions, or informal summaries do not override the written contract.
For privacy and accuracy, the school normally communicates directly with the enrolled student about enrollment, payment, attendance, and policy matters unless the student has provided proper written authorization or the law allows otherwise.
Optional Ways to Save
Each program may offer different savings opportunities. Please read your specific student agreement for the exact terms. Discounts and incentives are not automatic. They are tied to written conditions and documented student actions.
Pay in full at enrollment – maximum discount where available, for example $1,500 off tuition where stated in the applicable agreement
Consistent weekly attendance – up to $1,275.50 off where the applicable agreement allows
High CIMA theory exam scores – $100-$500 bonus where the applicable agreement allows
Voluntary progress sharing on social media – up to $750 in rewards where the applicable agreement allows; any public post must be truthful, voluntary, and based on the student’s real experience
Client feedback and public reviews – up to $500 where the applicable agreement allows; LBA does not require false praise, scripted reviews, or dishonest ratings
Positive role-model conduct – school recognition may include additional perks when properly documented and allowed by the applicable agreement
Please check your own agreement. Savings vary by program, are subject to written terms, and must be earned or approved through the stated process.
Flexible Monthly Payment Plan
If you choose not to pay in full, Louisville Beauty Academy offers a monthly payment path under the terms of the applicable student agreement.
Start with the required one-time enrollment deposit listed below
Make monthly payments of any amount, consistent with the student agreement
Pay the balance in full before graduation in order to receive completion documentation, as required by the agreement
written payment is charged, and students may pay ahead.
Enrollment Deposit Required for Monthly Payment Plan
Every student signs a written enrollment agreement. Please read yours carefully before signing.
LBA publishes its enrollment materials and contract links for public review because transparency protects students and strengthens institutional trust.
Licensing hours are generally completed onsite under Kentucky cosmetology education requirements, unless a lawful Board-authorized emergency or alternative education exception applies.
Attendance and hours must be recorded through the school’s approved attendance system. Accurate time records protect the student’s licensing eligibility.
Unpaid balances remain the student’s responsibility as stated in the signed agreement and applicable law.
LBA does not guarantee employment or future income. The school provides education, structure, licensing preparation, and student support, but each student’s outcome depends on many factors.
False, defamatory, or unauthorized statements or representations about the school may create legal issues. Students and graduates are encouraged to communicate concerns in writing so they can be reviewed properly.
Schedule and Attendance
Louisville Beauty Academy is designed for adult students with real lives, work responsibilities, family responsibilities, and different learning needs. Students build schedules within school policy, instructor availability, and Kentucky licensing requirements.
Attendance Rules and Hour Protection
Students should clock in at least once each week under school policy unless a written leave, approved schedule issue, or documented exception applies.
Kentucky rules require proper enrollment, attendance, hour reporting, and accurate records for licensing eligibility.
Current Kentucky regulation states that a student’s training period shall be no more than 9 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
Students receive a 30-minute meal or rest break for an eight-hour day or longer, and that break is not credited toward required instructional hours.
Hours must be recorded accurately through the school’s attendance system. If the time record is wrong, the licensing record can be affected.
Why we take attendance seriously: hours are not just school paperwork. They are part of the licensing record that follows the student toward graduation, examination eligibility, and professional entry.
Family-Oriented, Flexible, and Orderly
LBA works to maintain a respectful, family-friendly, culturally inclusive learning environment. Flexibility matters, but so does order. A beauty school must be kind enough to help students keep going and disciplined enough to protect the record that leads to licensure.
Family-friendly and culturally inclusive environment
Clear expectations for attendance, conduct, sanitation, and professionalism
Student support focused on licensure, work readiness, and lawful completion
Communication Policy: Please Put Important Questions in Writing
For enrollment, tuition, payment-plan, attendance, document, or policy questions, LBA strongly recommends written communication by text or email.
Written communication helps prevent misunderstanding. It allows the Student Public Relations and Compliance Department to review the question, research the record, and respond accurately. It also gives the student and the school a record that can be reviewed later if needed.
Plain rule: if the issue matters, put it in writing. A clear written record is better than confusion, memory, or rumor.
Our Promise to Students
At Louisville Beauty Academy, student success is our success. We are proud to have helped nearly 2,000 students and graduates move toward beauty-industry opportunity through training, structure, documentation, and persistence.
YES I CAN means more than encouragement. It means showing up, clocking in, learning the law, practicing the skill, finishing the hours, documenting the record, and becoming ready for the next lawful step.
We are committed to walking with students step by step, respectfully and honestly, while keeping the school record clear, the student agreement visible, and the licensing pathway grounded in compliance.

AI-enabled beauty education pioneer
Human instruction, written clarity, and AI-supported student systems.
Enrollment should feel human and clear. LBA’s AI-supported lead, documentation, translation, and follow-up systems help students ask better questions before they sign or pay.
Di Tran, Founder and AI / Humanization Head, leads this direction as a practical model: use AI to organize information, improve multilingual access, support documentation, strengthen follow-up, publish learning resources, and help students move from confusion to written next steps.
Important control: AI-supported tools help organize, translate, publish, route, and explain information. They do not replace instructors, signed enrollment documents, current school policies, Kentucky Board of Cosmetology requirements, PSI rules, professional judgment, or applicable law.
